Well it's all over for another year and Friday was certainly a day of tired people, emotions were running high (i.e. organisers were slightly aggressive) and the shows were running super late! 1.5 hours late for the New Generation show and I was happy to wore flats! 

The New Generation show was so late and I was beginning to wonder if it was worth it, it was though and there was a 5 year old who kept us entertained with her super load voice, 'why are they wearing funny clothes mummy' 'what's happening' I don't like it'....maybe a new Anna Wintour? 

Flower for a Vagabond sponsored by Wool Mark and mainly wool clothes, draping fabrics, very wearable and well done!



 Khrysalis started off with really pretty romantic clothes and then all of this bondage inspired dresses appeared, clearly either a design duo or someone with split personality....it's a design duo.  



 By Johnny target market is young girls, super short and tight with song lyrics during the show 'come and get it boys' which seemed very appropriate. Cute & young.



 Annah Stretton split her show into 3, pretty dresses for woman, young fashion and lingerie & sleepwear. The first part was my favorite and the best for our clients. There were very cute dresses, the pear shapes would LOVE the dresses and the shoes...I die!





KSUBI was the most anticipated show this week and you can watch the show HERE  and please do because its very cool. I love the start, you really feel the boys pain and what they have been through over the last 6 months and I am so happy for them that they are still here! The clothes were great, very Ksubi and there devoted followers will love it!

Today is another busy day for the fashionistas and the cold snap has made everyone re-think there wardrobes! The heat has been turned up though so you swelter inside and freeze outside.

We have seen a few great brands and Tafe NSW was a knock-out! Well done! To be honest, some were very unwearable and the shoes in Elliot Ward-Fear were just cruel for models...there were quite a few slips & I felt so anxious for them!

Ok, so here are a few for you.

Kirrily Johnson went for tribal styling, geometric shaped prints, fringing knit dresses, poo catcher pants for men, bold stripes in black and white, more high waisted pleated pants, dresses with longer back than front, mens was pretty...well fashion forward!
Wearable...on a scale of 1-10, probably a 4.

Ae'lkemi was fabulous!! I was gushing for ages over this and sooo wearable, lovely colours, feminine....oh, loved the white dresses, tribal prints in blue and green, stunning teal dresses with feather spays, finally something my lovelies can wear!  Gorgeous bridal wear, there was one dress with the SS10 cut outs that had a lace insert. Very clever. Who would it suit? Hourglasses, rectangles and pears. Some of the silk is very figure hugging so shapewear may be required.

Tafe NSW had a huge crowd of friends and family and showcased 4 designers,  FUSS was first very pretty trapeze dresses, lace inserts, maxi dresses with a jungle theme and smocking..smocking is great!  



Then we saw Christopher Doboz with Laser cut out circles, longer back than front dresses..



The designs by Elliot Ward-Fear were quite unwearable but extremely artistic! The shoes were definitely a distraction with 1 model completely falling over in them and another few slipping, I was so anxious for them!



Dhini's collection was more tribal prints, really wearable white dresses with wrapped silk that were very well done and cute tights.  




Kooey swimwear was really stunning and wearable. It was very off putting though as there was a group of 20 men in suits and then a (unnamed) league football team! It just felt sleazy before hand and then....the mid 50's businessman next to me was ONLY taking photos of the models bums and was proud to tell me.
Anyway, the designs are super cute and a repeat of last years.

Today between both of the batteries on my camera going flat, fighting for signal with everyone else and then having to borrow a (lovely) taxi drivers phone charger I did manage to get some great pictures and tweet....

Kate Sylvester was full of grey, white, brown high waisted pants with waist pleats, jumpsuits, lace..& bows! ...twin sets! Very muted tones..nearly everything for hourglass and rectangle figures
 



Then onto Alice McCall with zipper fronted dresses, cut outs ,lots of yellow, beige, high waisted shorts, longer back than front trapeze dresses, high waisted shorts, beige, some yellow, cornflower blue..

Wearable? Well some of it is.



Manning Cartel lots of white, laser cutouts, grey, maxi skirts, cute leather bolero,white tails silk jacket...

 

and Bianca Spender with soft ruffles..lots of trousers! More lace and uneven hems on dresses and the jumpsuits are getting a workout! (not the best photos, sorry)
